Photographing with film

So today I processed my film which was very difficult thankfully I had some help from my tutor in this department. The negatives turned out great so I'm hoping my photos will too, we'll see tomorrow! I'm very excited

Concept for brief and preparatory shots

For my brief I have decided to focus on the new and the old Limerick and compare the two. I went in to the older more run down areas and compared them to the newer areas of the city that have money being put into them. This is what really interests me about the city some areas are very rustic with old bricked buildings and are in stark contrast to what is just around the corner.

So today I am using a film SLR for the first time! I went out into the city yesterday and took all my preparatory shots which turned out lovely so hoping these turn out the same!
I think I will use similar shots to the ones I took yesterday because I think they really capture the collaboration of old and rustic and slick and new architecture and surroundings in limerick city which I think is really interesting about the city.
