Experimenting!

I decided to try the paint dropping project again with popcorn as I find it very interesting how the popcorn comes from a little seed

Pinecone falling piece

This is the recorded piece of the pinecone falling to the ground. The paint symbolises the pinecone hitting the ground and the spreading of its seeds for new life.

CCS

So recently I have been focusing on my CCS essay and have learned about the close connections that Durer and Da Vinci had which I find very interesting.
The only thing stressing me out about this essay is the fact its my first and I'm not 100% sure how to lay it out!

Pinecone Falling

Here is the prototype of the piece I will attempt to make later.
I like the piece apart from the last of colour and I am hoping to get more of the shape of the pinecone onto the page with the paint

New Direction

Ok so havent really posted on this in a while cause in all honesty I was quite stuck after my assessment on what to do as my tutors didn't like my work and I completely agreed with them.
They suggested I look at nuts and peas etc. to symbolise like the womb or a confined space, which I did, as I was in the park I saw a pinecone falling from a tree which I thought symbolised birth. So, taking a step forward from womb like things I am working on using the pinecone and trying to remake the marks the pinecone made as it fell from the tree which I think should be interesting!
